Ms. Blevins began her career in education as a teacher at St. Paul Lutheran School in St. Joseph. She joined the St. Joseph School District team in 2012 serving as an elementary and middle school teacher for more than five years before moving into an administrative role. Ms. Blevins was an administrative intern at Edison Elementary and Coleman Elementary. She spent a year at Pershing Elementary as their interim principal prior to moving to the principalship at Edison.
Ms. Blevins has a specialist’s degree in secondary leadership from Northwest Missouri State University, a master’s degree in educational leadership in elementary education from Park University, a bachelor’s degree in political science and a bachelor’s degree in history from Missouri Western State University.
Ms. Blevins considers being the principal at Edison Elementary a gift and privilege, and will work each day to serve its community.
